The Kings Women’s Organization will host an on-court check presentation to SAFE and EMQ during half-time of the Kings vs. the Golden State Warriors game on Tuesday, March 9, 2004.  All proceeds raised from the official 2004 Kings Calendar sales will be presented to SAFE and EMQ.

Representatives from the Kings Women’s Organization as well as from SAFE and EMQ will be available for interviews.  Please call Jamie Law at (916) 928-8154 to set this up.

Since 1995, the Kings Women’s Organization has raised over $167,000 for a number of non-profit organizations in the Sacramento Region.  Calendars are still available for purchase online at www.SacramentoTeamStore.com.

About the Charities

SAFE serves underprivileged high school students by underwriting the out-of-pocket expenses associated with school activities, such as team uniforms, band instruments, club trips and sports equipment.

EMQ Children & Family Services serves children who have been or are at risk of being removed from their family and community because of serious behavioral challenges.  EMQ is the leading provider of children’s mental health and social services in California and works to transform the lives of children and families and the systems that serve them.
