October 17, 2005–Women who were orphaned at the Ming Quong Home in the 1930s, 1940s and 1950s participated in a reunion this October at their old home on the EMQ campus in Los Gatos. Ming Quong later merged with Eastfield Children's Center to become EMQ Children & Family Services.

Reunion attendees came together to reminisce, look at old photos and documents from the home, and enjoy lunch and a tour of the modern EMQ campus. Some structures from the old Ming Quong Home still remain on the campus today, including the main house where the children lived, and the Chinese-architecture-influenced gate at the entrance to the property.
