An alarming number of California's youth - estimated at almost one million of our children and adolescents - struggle with serious mental illness or behavioral disorders. The children we help typically struggle with one or more of the following: severe depression, suicidal thinking, drug or alcohol abuse, severe attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder, and serious behavioral issues.
Left untreated, these problems create a cycle of hopelessness. Too often they lead to desperate adulthoods and long-term damage to our communities. EMQ helps children find their strengths, overcome these disorders and reconnect to their families and friends.

How You Can Help
EMQ Children & Family Services depends on generous contributions to help rebuild our children’s futures. The cost of providing quality care continues to rise and we urgently need your help.
We receive a portion of our funding from government sources; however, this covers only part of the children’s needs. There are many wonderful ways to become a partner with us to save these young lives.
