We sure hope so, because we would like a mentor and we have been waiting a long time!

Profile A
I'm a 17-year-old boy and have been waiting more than a year for a mentor. Either a male
or female mentor would be fine. My interests include robotics, computers, electronics,
welding, and the operation of other appliances and apparatus, as well as swimming and
playing basketball. I also love animals and am a volunteer at a local animal rescue
operation. A mentor could help me with my social skills and maybe even help me learn
some independent living skills since I'm almost grown up now. I attend high school for
half a day, and spend the other half of my day at an occupational training school where
I'm in my first year in the machinist program.
Profile B
I'm a 15-year-old boy who would benefit greatly from an
older male mentor, maybe someone who could be like a grandfather
to me. I'm looking for someone to hang out with, talk to
and have fun. My interests include video games, building things,
Legos, puzzles, the "Dungeons & Dragons" game
and yu-gi-oh cards. EMQ staff members report that I am "a
really sweet kid!"
Profile C
I'm a 15-year-old boy who enjoys watching wrestling (WWE), but I don't mind
if my mentor doesn't share that interest. I have lots of other interests, like
music, computers, and more. I like to be out and about, and not bored! My EMQ
staff members report that I have a huge heart and I love to help the less fortunate.
Maybe I could even do some volunteer work with my mentor. I would benefit from a male
mentor because I mostly have women role models in my life.
