How can I volunteer?

Community support has been at the heart of nonprofit EMQ since its inception in 1867. Today, the lives of thousands of children with serious emotional disturbances are brighter because of many volunteers who give of their time, talents and energy. Volunteer opportunities include:

  • Being a mentor in EMQ's Neighbor-to-Neighbor Mentor Program
  • Participating on one of EMQ's three auxiliary groups that operate retail stores in the community
  • Helping plan and stage EMQ's annual V.I.P. (Volunteers Inspiring People) League luncheon to benefit EMQ's Addiction Prevention Services
  • Participating in the annual Tennis Marathon

There are many other one-time and ongoing activities that will make it possible for EMQ to help more children in our community. To learn about volunteering for EMQ, contact the EMQ Fund Development Department at (408) 364-4044. (Volunteer Opportunities)
