Dr. Lisa Cullins
Medical Director

Dr. Cullins joined EMQ in 2007 from the Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C. where she served as both Medical Director for the DC Kids program and Associate Training Director of the Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship Program.  In addition to her roles at the Children’s National Medical Center, Dr. Cullins was Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Pediatrics at George Washington University Medical Center.  As EMQ’s Medical Director, she will ensure that EMQ continues to be a leader in behavioral healthcare practices while overseeing the agency’s physicians, psychologists and other clinical staff who provide direct care to children receiving behavioral health treatment through EMQ.  Dr. Cullins is a a graduate of Stanford University and received her M.D. degree from University of Illinois College of Medicine. Following her residency at UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute and Hospital in Los Angeles, she was a fellow in child and adolescent psychiatry at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, NYS Psychiatric Institute in New York, NY. She is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in both Adult and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, and is a member of the American Psychiatric Association and the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
