| Thank you for your interest in EMQ's Clinical
Internship Program. The Clinical Internship Program at EMQ Children
& Family Services provides training and clinical supervision to
pre-licensed and graduate students enrolled in an accredited University, College,
or professional graduate school to obtain a post-baccalaureate
degree in psychology, social work or marriage family therapy (i.e.,
MFT Trainees, MFT Registered Interns, MSW student interns, Associate
Clinical Social Workers).
EMQ's Clinical Internship Program is committed to providing training
in evidence-based practices. Our goal is to provide interns with
a solid theoretical and experiential base that will become the
foundation for future professional work in mental health and social
services. These individuals will acquire the knowledge and skills
to work competently within the mental health system at the completion
of their Clinical Internship Program training at EMQ. Clinical
Interns will be integrated into our interdisciplinary clinical
team while enriching each other's experience through an interchange
of ideas and perspectives. Our current Clinical Interns are getting
extensive training in the Family Therapeutic Services Program (formerly known as the Child Sexual Abuse Treatment Program and Outpatient Services program) and Foster Family Agency (FFA).
Please visit the Our
Services section of our website to find more information about
EMQ Children & Family Services and various services offered to
youths and their families through our agency.
